L'ombre et la lumière

No, don't think I go out wearing just a blazer on when it's cold. This pic is from last week, when the weather was more pleasant than now.

No, non vado in giro solo con la giacchetta con questo freddo. La foto è di mercoledì scorso, quando effettivamente c'era una temperatura molto mite.

Sometimes a garment can improve our days.
For exemple, when it's cold outside and all we need is a hug, the heat of a soft knit coat - with no zips, no buttons, just pinned on the front with a large brooch - could means a lot and it could make you feel protected expecially when you can't afford to be weak and you have to pull out all the grit you've got.
At least the cold wind is no longer an enemy.

Alle volte un vestito può migliorarci la giornata.
Ad esempio, quando fa freddo e abbiamo bisogno di un abbraccio, il calore di un cappotto morbido di maglia, senza zip, senza bottoni, solo con una grande spilla a riunire i lembi, può fare davvero tanto e farti sentire al riparo soprattutto quando non puoi permetterti di essere debole e devi sfoderare tutta la grinta di cui disponi. Almeno il vento freddo non è più un nemico.

Saturday's shopping

Last Saturday I went for shopping with a couple of friends who requested my advices. I couldn't wait but wearing my new boots and the 80s purse I stolen from my mum's wardrobe, in exchange for a little updating about season's trends ;)

My look is very simple and confy, played with two colors (caramel and black) broken with white tights. I think it looks just a little 70s style, don't you think?

Beh, se mi seguite su Facebook lo sapevate di già: ho tagliato i capelli! E il bello è che me li sono tagliati (ancora una volta) da sola. Come sto? Fatemelo sapere, ci tengo ai vostri pareri!

Questo sabato sono stata in giro a Pistoia a dare consigli di shopping a due amiche. Avevo una voglia matta di indossare i miei nuovi stivali Primadonna e la maxi pochette anni '80 che ho rubato a mia mamma in cambio di qualche "dritta" sulle tendenze di quest'anno ;)

Il look è molto semplice e comodo, articolato su due soli colori (caramello e nero) spezzati dal bianco panna dei collant. Lo trovo un po' anni '70, voi che ne dite?

Get the chance: black boots on Easyshop

I'm glad to tell you today a new collaboration starts with this blog and Easyshop, the e-shopping website, where you can find many deals on apparel and furniture items.
What I'm going to do is make a selection of the coolest items and suggest you some ways to match them. I thought our biggest doubts when we purchase an item are about "...how do I match it?". Il mio ruolo consiste nel selezionare gli articoli a mio giudizio più cool, e suggerirvi alcuni modi per abbinarli. Ho pensato infatti che i dubbi maggiori, quando acquistiamo un oggetto, siano legati proprio al "...e poi con cosa lo metto?". Quindi, senza grosse pretese, vi fornirò degli input per creare i vostri abbinamenti. Vi piace l'idea? Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate.

first days at the new job

Since Monday I have a brand new office and only for me! I have great responsibility and I am thrilled, excited and a bit anxious, but I will use all the determination I have to do my best!
This is the look that I raised in these early days. It is sober, but without sacrificing a feminine touch.

Da lunedì ho un ufficio tutto nuovo e tutto per me! Ho grandi responsabilità e sono fremente, emozionata e un po' in ansia, ma userò tutta la grinta che ho per fare del mio meglio!
Questo è il look che ho sfoggiato in questi primi giorni. Sobrio, ma senza rinunciare a un tocco di femminilità.

Valentine's night

I just remedied tonight this soft and warm scarf: it's a Christmas gift by my good friend Marina, who also designed the present... I haven't seen her for too long....

Solo due ore in giro per Firenze in compagnia del mio amore che ha lavorato fino a tardi, ma non poteva mancare un tocco di rosso in questa giornata dedicata a tutti gli innamorati come noi...

Ho rimediato questa sciarpa morbida e calda proprio stasera, regalo e creazione della mia amica Marina che non vedevo veramente da troppo tempo.....
