IAMTHEFUTURE fashion show: my selection

Here I am, after hours spent selecting hundreds of pics (exactly 326) and analyzing technical and stylistic details dress after dress. Now I have to do my blogger due and write a chritical review of the best collection I've seen on Sunday at the event IAMTHEFUTURE in Florence.
I show you here strictly a selection of the most the most noteworthy garments to me.

Ed eccomi qui, dopo ore passate a selezionare centinaia di foto (326, per la precisione) e ad analizzare i dettagli tecnici e stilistici abito per abito, nel ruolo vero e proprio di blogger di moda e critica, a scrivervi la mia recensione delle mini collezioni dei designer emergenti che hanno sfilato domenica a Firenze durante l'evento IAMTHEFUTURE.

Vi presento qui unicamente una ristretta selezione dei capi più degni di nota (e che nessuno me ne voglia per questo!). Sempre secondo il mio modesto parere, of course.

I am the future - the event

First quick update from the event I AM THE FUTURE in Florence yesterday.

I'm going to talk about the fashion show tomorrow. Now here are a few pics to make you live with me this event.

...Primo veloce aggiornamento con una carrellata di foto dall'evento I AM THE FUTURE a cui ho partecipato ieri a Firenze. Della sfilata vi parlerò domani, oggi voglio farvi rivivere con me quest'esperienza attraverso qualche scatto rubato...

Nella prima foto sono con la mia collega blogger Irene, che ogni volta trovo sempre disponibilissima e gentile, una di quelle persone che non se la tira per niente e di cui ci sono pochi esemplari in questo mondo!

YSL exhibition in Madrid

...Finally, here I am after the long series of misadventures in Madrid (if you're friends of mine on Facebook you already know I was robbed). An here it is the report from Yves Saint Laurent exhibition (on stage 'til january 2012, the 8th) organized by Mapfre Foundation and Pierre Bergé Foundation.
I begin my report with a tip: go and visit! It's worth. The collection is well-provided: 150 cloths, many videos, a setting that reproduces the designer's creative space, with his desk, his glasses and his inspirations, plus an entire floor dedicated to his sketches and tecnical specifications. To let you surrend, the entrance is free. Maybe, unlike me, you're better doing more attention to your wallet when you're in the subway. :)


...Ed eccomi qui, finalmente, dopo le mie disavventure a Madrid (se siete miei amici su Facebook avrete appreso che sono stata derubata), a farvi un piccolo report sulla mostra di Yves Saint Laurent organizzata dalla Fondazione Mapfre in collaborazione con la Fondazione Pierre Bergé, che sarà visitabile ancora fino all'8 gennaio 2012.

Inizio col dirvi che ne vale davvero la pena, per cui se state programmando un weekend nella capitale spagnola, vi consiglio di segnare nel vostro itinerario la tappa "Paseo de Recoletos, 25" perchè la collezione è veramente ben fornita: 150 capi, diversi video, un allestimento che riproduce lo spazio creativo dello stilista con la sua scrivania, i suoi occhiali e le sue ispirazioni e un intero piano dedicato esclusivamente a schizzi  e schede tecniche. Per farvi definitivamente capitolare, aggiungo che l'entrata è gratuita. Magari, a differenza di me, fate più attenzione al vostro portafogli in metropolitana. :)

How to dress cool in a cheap way: platform leopard pumps

Giuseppe Zanotti's shoes are a real temptation: they're really cute and make feel us such sexy women thanks to the height and the shape of the heels and also thanks to the beauty of high quality materials. But unfortunately they are not so cheap, so I guess they will stay just a dream to me.

For me and for all the leopard lovers, Asos offers a cheaper alternative for GZ's pumps.

Le scarpe di giuseppe Zanotti sono una vera tentazione: sono davvero belle e fanno sentire noi donne davvero molto sexy grazie all'altezza e alla forma del tacco e grazie anche alla qualità dei materiali. Sfortunatamente, non sono prorio alla portata delle tasche di tutte, perciò temo che almeno per quanto mi riguarda rimarranno un sogno.

Per me, e per tutte le amanti del maculato, Asos propone un'alternativa più a buon mercato delle decolletée  GZ. Voi quale scegliereste?

LFW: the cruise lady of Temperley London

Cruise lady for Alice Temperley, the designer who can be proud to have dressed Sarah Jessica Parker, Demi Moore, Halle Berry and Heidi Klum.

She's a woman on cruise all the summer long, armed with her turban, killer heels, shiny red lipstick, amber skin and a luxury allure. Ok, it's not me, neither you I suppose, but why don't keep on dreaming as we did with princess' clothes when we were child?

On closer ispection, the silhouette is essential so the garment are wearable: the difference is in materials, in gold bold jewelry (I support the idea to wear a big single jewel), in the preciousness of embroidery on light dresses as transparent veils.

The beauty of this collection is unquestionable.

And how couldn't we notice at models' feet the FW 2011-12 Charlotte Olympia's shoes? I fell in love with the black suède ones, with tassels and a little head of leopard on the toe (Bruce, £780.... sigh of resignation...)

E' una cruise lady, quella di Alice Temperley, stilista inglese che con la sua ancora giovane maison ha il vanto di avere già incantato (e vestito) Sarah Jessica Parker, Demi Moore, Halle Berry e Heidi Klum. Una donna in crociera per tutta l'estate, armata di turbante, tacchi vertiginosi, rossetto rosso lucido, pelle ambrata e l'allure del lusso. Ok, questa donna non sono io, e nemmeno la maggiorparte di voi credo, ma chi ci vieta di sognare un po' come facevamo da bambine con gli abiti delle principesse?

A ben guardare, le linee sono molto pulite e semplici, quindi portabilissime: a fare la differenza sono i materiali, i gioielli d'oro molto importanti (apprezzo l'idea di indossarne uno solo, grande e vistoso), le incrostazioni di ricami preziosissimi sugli abiti trasparenti come veli.

La bellezza di questa collezione è indiscutibile. E come non notare ai piedi delle modelle le stupende scarpe di Charlotte Olympia dell'autunno/inverno 2011-12? Io mi sono innamorata di quelle in suède nere, con nappine e testine di leopardo... (modello Bruce, 780 sterline... sospiro di rassegnazione).

NYFW favourite looks: Karen Walker

Full marks for the look of Karen Walker's woman, who offers fresh and colorful outfits, vintage inspired but with a modern fizzy twist. I love her candy pink paired with pale yellow because the result isn't cloying: it's due to the successful all over printing and cognac-colored shoes.

Turbans drive me crazy (this is not a new, you already know considering latest posts...) and shirt dresses printed with vintage inspired patterns, taken at the waist with a leather belt do the same... a series of successful looks. I guess I will dress up this way next summer!!!

Ho promosso a pieni voti il look della donna di Karen Walker, che propone mise colorate e fresche, che guardano al vintage ma con aria birichina, frizzante, moderna. Adoro il rosa confetto poco stucchevole col giallo pallido, perchè vivacizzato da una azzeccata stampa all over e calzature color cognac. Mi mandano in visibilio i turbanti (ma ve lo sarete immaginate da sole dati i miei ultimi post ;) e gli scamiciati con stampe retro ripresi in vita da una cintura color cuoio... un look di successo dietro l'altro e sicuramente voglio vestirmi così, la prossima primavera!!!

London shoes

Here it is the outfit of my Sunday evening spent at the theatre. Purse and jacket are the same of the morning outfit ( see here) : I changed all the rest.
These shoes are very special and very loved by the people: every time I wear them, there's always someone who stop me in the street and explains all his enthusiasm for them! ....And I really enjoy it!!
I bought them in London, in an amazing shop in Covent Garden which I never wanted to leave anymore...!!! There were a lot of amazing and extraordinary shoes that I never saw in Italy before and it was very difficult deciding which pair of them bringing home with me!

Ecco qui l'outfit che ho scelto domenica sera per andare a teatro. Rispetto all'outfit del giorno (vedi qui) ho lasciato la giacca e la pochette, cambiando tutto il resto.

Sweatshirt

Early sunny day ... feel like soft colors as powder pink, and soft and light things... like this sweatshirt I find perfect with a simple pair of dark basic jeans and a few accessories.

And you? What's your favourite colour to wear these days?

Prime giornate di sole... voglia di colori soft, come il rosa cipria, e di cose morbide e leggere, come questa felpina che trovo perfetta su un semplice paio di jeans scuri, dalla linea basica, e pochi accessori.

A retrospective

Out of this blog my job is... again fashion and garments! It's a real passion to me! As well as I wear them, I draw them all the time.

Today I'd like to show you some of my best works of these last four years spent working at Koralline (you can learn more about this brand here). 

This is a kind of retrospective, because I don't work there anymore but I'm working at new more important projects.

Al di fuori di questo lavoro il mio lavoro è.... ancora moda e vestiti! :) E' una vera passione per me! Oltre a indossarli, li disegno per tutto il tempo.

I stole a tee from my boyfriend's closet

While Gab is travelling through cities of Mexico, I go to have lunch with his parents and all his family ^_^

I could never give up the dishes that his mother prepares!

I chose a confortable height of heels and my usual touch of red on the black (I adore this colour at this moment!).

I stole a grey tee from Gab's closet... In this period that he is not here, I wear them very often, because I feel close to him, someway...

Here there was another rainy sunday... and what about you?
