Black, red and studs

Brrrr.... it's very cold, girls! The frost has come but I'm stoic so yesterday I went out with my pumps without tights. My plan was an aperitivo with friends at Opificio JM in Prato, a very particular place where you can combine the pleasure of food with the pleasure of shopping. Here you can try a vintage coat while you're enjoying your Morellino with Parmesan, and buy everything you see because everything is for sale. A place that deserves a whole post all for it and I'd like to talk about very soon. Meanwhile you can check out their website here.

For this evening I chose red pants with zips, two overlayed jumpers (black on black), studded pumps and a pretty short woolen jacket. Jewellery reduced to the minimum: I thought this look should be pretty minimal, what do you think about?

Brrr... che freddo, ragazze! Il gelo è arrivato, ma io sono stoica, e coraggiosamente ieri sera sono uscita con le decolleté senza calze. Avevo in programma un aperitivo con gli amici all'Opificio JM a Prato, un posto molto particolare dove si possono unire il piacere del cibo a quello dello shopping. Qui potete provare un cappottino vintage mentre degustate il vostro Morellino col Parmigiano, e comprare tutto quello che vedete, perchè tutto è in vendita - anche le forchette con cui mangiate. Un locale che merita senza dubbio un post tutto per sé, su questo blog,  e di cui mi piacerebbe parlarvi molto presto. Intanto potete dare un'occhiata al sito qui.

Ho scelto pantaloni rossi con la zip, doppio strato di maglioncini (nero su nero), le suddette decolletée senza calze e una marsina in lana piuttosto corta. Bijoux ridotti veramente al minimo: trovavo che un look così dovesse rimanere piuttosto minimale, voi che ne pensate?

A train of new adventures is arriving!

This w.e. I went on the west coast spending a wonderful loosing time with my friend J. (she's the best cure when you're blue...).

I've also brought home a new commitment as blogger I will tell you soon !

I used a kind of silhouette in vogue now: oversized top, skinny bottom... the right look for those who have belly like me!

I have rolled twice the pants because I prefered leave my sneakers in sight... then, I added my usual "freak" touch, to play down these days in the city... I also suggest you wearing something funny every day: that's good for your mood!

Lately I can't help but wear flats, flats, flats!!! Am I getting old????

Questo w.e. sono andata aulla "west coast" a passare un po' di tempo con la mia amica J. (è la miglior cura che io conosca, quando sono giù...)

Mi sono anche portata a casa un nuovo impegno di lavoro come blogger, di cui vi parlerò presto!

Nel frattempo, vi lascio con questa manciata di foto della scorsa settimana: un outfit molto confortevole per la vita urbana di ogni giorno.

We're the new metropolitan people: we need something confortable but not shabby; everyday we go to work, or school, we front business meetings and then we go grocery shopping, get a drink with friends, we like to be trendy and cannot squander the money, we move all the day in cars, trains, buses, tubes and we always have to be presentable, 'cause our own apparel is our first business card which could open us many doors or close them....
We need colour, 'cause we're tired or stressed, and dress up colors is a good theraphy. We need feeling confortable as much as feminine.
Well, I try everyday to give an answer to all my needs (I think they're yours as well).
The clutch, I know, isn't the ideal bag for our daily journey, but we can bring one into our big shoulder bag :)

Siamo le moderne abitanti delle città: abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa di confortevole senza scadere nel trasandato; ogni giorno andiamo al lavoro, a scuola, affrontiamo incontri di lavoro e poi andiamo a fare la spesa, a prendere un aperitivo con gli amici, ci piace essere trendy e non possiamo spendere una cifra, ci spostiamo tutto il giorno in auto, in treno, in bus, in metropolitana e dobbiamo sempre essere presentabili, perchè il nostro abbigliamento è il nostro primo biglietto da visita che può aprirci meravigliose porte e o chiudercele in faccia...

...And finally this was my outfit yesterday night! I was feeling very "ba-rock" with that necklace and that damask jacket, but rock in a brand new coloured way! Don't you think?
