DIY: how to turn old pumps into cool pumps

Just a moment before throwing away these old pumps I didn't like anymore, I stopped and thought if there was a way to retrieve them. Well, I've found it and I've started to work to. 
When I completed my work, I considered my simply idea could be useful also for you, 'cause I think we all own a pair of shoes we don't like anymore and we could retrieve instead of throw them away.
So, in this post I'm going to explain how I did it. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Giusto un momento prima di buttar via queste vecchie decolletée che non mi piacevano più, mi sono fermata a pensare se c'era un modo per recuperarle e trasformarle da brutti anatroccoli a cigni, da vecchie scarpe sfigate a decolletée appetibili. Be', l'ho trovato e ho cominciato a lavorarci.
A lavoro finito, ho considerato che la mia idea così semplice poteva essere utile anche a voi, perchè penso che ognuna di noi abbia almeno un paio di scarpe che non mette più e che potrebbe rendere più accattivante invece di buttarlo via.

Saturday night fever

Saturday night with friends: I pulled out of my closet a satin little black dress I hadn't worn for a long time. It is still in fashion due to its trapeze shape and fabric whom it's made of.
I've chosen to try out a match I kept in mind for a long time: purple with black and golden studs.
This is one of my best purchases ever: these Patrizia Pepe pumps bought for a very reasonable price on Yoox.com, a few years ago. Even if I don't love this brand, these shoes are very stunning to me and I've found a good quality of materials... in short, a bargain!
Ultimately I definitely love this look very much, I find it so rockish! I hope you'll like it as much as I love it!

Sabato sera con gli amici: ho tirato fuori un abitino di raso che non indossavo da tempo, ancora attuale per la sua linea a trapezio e per il tessuto con cui è fatto. Ho scelto di provare un accostamento che avevo in mente da un pezzo: il viola con il nero e le borchie dorate.
E' uno dei miei acquisti migliori di sempre: queste decolletée di Patrizia Pepe comprate per un prezzo più che ragionevole su Yoox.com qualche anno fa. Anche se non sono un'amante di questo brand, queste scarpe le ho trovate da subito irresistibili e sono rimasta anche molto soddisfatta della qualità dei materiali usati. Insomma, un affare!

In definitiva, il risultato mi piace molto, lo trovo molto rock! E voi che ne pensate?

Black, red and studs

Brrrr.... it's very cold, girls! The frost has come but I'm stoic so yesterday I went out with my pumps without tights. My plan was an aperitivo with friends at Opificio JM in Prato, a very particular place where you can combine the pleasure of food with the pleasure of shopping. Here you can try a vintage coat while you're enjoying your Morellino with Parmesan, and buy everything you see because everything is for sale. A place that deserves a whole post all for it and I'd like to talk about very soon. Meanwhile you can check out their website here.

For this evening I chose red pants with zips, two overlayed jumpers (black on black), studded pumps and a pretty short woolen jacket. Jewellery reduced to the minimum: I thought this look should be pretty minimal, what do you think about?

Brrr... che freddo, ragazze! Il gelo è arrivato, ma io sono stoica, e coraggiosamente ieri sera sono uscita con le decolleté senza calze. Avevo in programma un aperitivo con gli amici all'Opificio JM a Prato, un posto molto particolare dove si possono unire il piacere del cibo a quello dello shopping. Qui potete provare un cappottino vintage mentre degustate il vostro Morellino col Parmigiano, e comprare tutto quello che vedete, perchè tutto è in vendita - anche le forchette con cui mangiate. Un locale che merita senza dubbio un post tutto per sé, su questo blog,  e di cui mi piacerebbe parlarvi molto presto. Intanto potete dare un'occhiata al sito qui.

Ho scelto pantaloni rossi con la zip, doppio strato di maglioncini (nero su nero), le suddette decolletée senza calze e una marsina in lana piuttosto corta. Bijoux ridotti veramente al minimo: trovavo che un look così dovesse rimanere piuttosto minimale, voi che ne pensate?
