How to dress cool in a cheap way: Celine ankle boots

Hi, girls!!! I'm innaugurating a new section of the blog today, I guess you're going to like it as much as I do (please, leave me your comments and impressions below!!!). 

To be fashion doesn't mean spend a lot of money anymore: thanks to low cost chains, we can easily being trendy, and my skill will be choosing cult items among designers' proposals and finding the cheapest alternative, so you can decide if saving your money or making an investment.

I exactly called the section "Save or invest" :)

Buongiorno ragazze! Inauguro oggi una nuova sezione del blog che spero vi piacerà quanto piace a me (lasciatemi le vostre impressioni, grazie!!!!).

Essere fashion non vuol dire più spendere una barcata di soldi: grazie alle catene low cost, possiamo facilmente essere trendy e il mio compito sarà quello di selezionare i pezzi cult tra le proposte degli stilisti e trovare l'alternativa più a buon prezzo, così che potrete liberamente scegliere se risparmiare o fare un investimento sulla qualità.

Per l'appunto, ho intitolato la sezione "Risparmia o investi" :)

White shirt

Oversized white shirts are a garment so stilish and versatile. I also think they're very sexy, as Audrey Hepburn teached in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Two nights ago I matched it with a simply pair of jeans and stillettos. Although Audrey is an elegance icon, I supposed it wasn't good idea wearing the shirt without them :)

Now, watching these pics I would have worn more jewelry: maybe a huge necklace, I think it could have been more charming. But however it was just for an aperitivo and a walk in Pistoia (a very nice town in Tuscany you absolutely have to visit) so I guess my look wasn't too understated.

Despite of the heels, these sandals are very confy and although they aren't new, this is the first time on the blog for them: do you like them? :)

Le camicie bianche oversize sono un indumento veramente stiloso e versatile. Penso anche che siano molto molto sexy, come insegna Audrey Hepburn in Colazione da Tiffany.

Due sere fa l'ho abbinata con un semplice paio di jeans e stiletti. Sebbene Audrey sia un'icona di eleganza, suppongo non fosse un'ottima idea indossare la camicia senza pantaloni :)

Ora, a ben riguardare queste foto avrei potuto indossare un po' di bijoux in più: forse una collana gigante, non so, ma penso che avrebbe potuto essere più accattivante. Ma comunque era solo per un aperitivo e una passeggiata a Pistoia (una cittadina toscana che dovete assolutamente visitare se non ci siete mai stati) perciò penso che il mio look non fosse sottotono.

A dispetto dei tacchi, questi sandali sono molto comodi e sebbene non siano nuovi, è la prima volta per loro su questo blog: che ne pensate? :)

Just a brooch for a look on the fly

A bunch of pics taken on the fly... and this outfit was created on the fly too! I chose this for a dinner at friends' home. Lately I've got less and less time for me, I don't know about you... So, I often have to rush from a commitment to another, through all over the town and I can stop just at night, when I go to my confy bed and I sleep at last!!!! :)

So, also this outfit is born this way: on the fly. Thanks to Coco and her blessed little black dress! I only wore that, and a long cardigan I purchased with THIS SKIRT at Benetton. To characterize the outift I pinned to the front a large fabric flower brooch. 

I believe the result is simple and fine, very nice. What do you think about?

Foto scattate al volo.... come al volo è stato creato questo look per una serata tra amici, a cena a casa di uno di noi. Non so voi, ma io ho sempre meno tempo per me, così spesso mi tocca correre da un impegno a un altro, da una parte all'altra della città e riuscire a fermarmi solo alla sera quando tocco letto e finalmente dormo! :)

Così anche questo look nasce così: al volo. Con un tubino nero che salva sempre (sia lodata Coco) e un lungo cardigan che avevo acquistato insieme a QUESTA GONNA da Benetton. A caratterizzare l'outift, una grande spilla a fiore in stoffa, appuntata sul davanti. 

Il risultato mi è parso semplice e fine, molto gradevole, voi che ne pensate?

Army chic

Today I want to show off an outfit played with black and military green hues which are a goos frame for an olive skin.

Garments shapes are wide, confy, extremely street: a wide V neckline top with glossy tone-on-tone lettering prints, in a soft cotton jersey, and a pair of fluid wide leg trousers, with washed silk effect (but it isn't silk) taken at the bottom with elastic, I resumed from samples not gone in production of the company where I worked.

Killer heels are a must with such a confy silhouette: otherwise I would seem like a huge garbage bag :)

So, I preferred black platform sandals with a high cone heel wrapping feet with a bondage effect which is the real difference on an outfit like this!

Accessories and details: a few, essentials, geometric and minimized, focusing on gold and bright colours.

La petite robe noire

You can't really understand how much is useful and important until you own that: the little black dress is an extremely versatile and confortable garment, perfect for any occasion and with any accessory. You can wear it from morning to evening without being neither too much nor inappropriate nor understated. Do you already own one?

So here it is, Sunday evening I matched it this way. Having been at sea, I needed something let my body free enough; unfortunately the weather turned bad: the wind started pulling and it was also cold... In short, a dip in the middle of the autumn, again! :(

Despite of this, I wasn't discouraged and... go ahead with bare legs! I'm lucky because I don't suffer cold at legs: I cover on the top... So, what to do, exhuming a coat???

For goodness sake, not at all. I solved this way: a long sleeve sweatshirt worn sideways, in my favourite pink, and a woolen vintage shawl in the same colour, with long fringes... To sofisticate that, I completed the look with a quilted purse and a jewelry set of pearls....

In short, Chanel was right a century ago: the little black dress is one of those timeless garments every woman must have in their own closet...

How do you match it?

Non si può capire quanto davvero è utile e fondamentale finchè non se ne si possiede uno: il tubino nero, o little black dress o petite robe noire che dir si voglia, è un capo estremamente versatile e comodo, adatto ad ogni occasione e con qualsiasi accessorio. Si porta tranquillamente dal giorno alla sera senza essere mai nè eccessive nè fuori luogo nè sottotono. Voi ne avete già uno?

Rock soul

Yes, I've got a rock soul. I feel a little bit tomboy, but with heels, of course!
Here I was wearing a long printed tee, very rock, with a pair of used effect jeans and details in black and silver. My hair surely helps me in the look!
Tomorrow it's Easter and my parents decided to come and visit me: they will be here in a few hours (great! I'm very happy!!!!). And how you're gonna spend your Easter?

B-day party

A birthday party for which I have rummage among my winter stuff because of the cold weather.
I've found this dress I didn't wear for a long time and I matched it with black garments and accessories.
I decided for my new prune lipstick (what do you think about?) and a light brush stroke of pink blush and the result was nice to me.

Minimalist among spring blossom

I often have the problem on Friday to wear something I can use during all the day and keep also for the evening, because after working I usually go to Florence to spent my evening and I haven't the possibility to go home and change me. So this was a solution for last Friday: I had no parties, no events, and I chose a very basic outfit, reducing colours in black and white only and minimizing accessories too. I think it was such a delicate and chic outfit.

Spesso ho il problema, di venerdì, di indossare qualcosa che possa andar bene per tutto il giorno e da tenere addosso anche per la sera, perchè dopo il lavoro di solito vado a Firenze a passare la serata e non ho la possibilità di tornare a casa a cambiarmi.
