Mixing lace and fringes, ton sur ton: that's an easy hint for a new romantic style. Lines arre essential, a few cuts, no volumes. You can choose light and natural colors as white and ecru for the daywear, like in this outfit, and keep the black for night, or you can try a bright color as orange matched with accessories in a contrasted color like purple.

Mixare il pizzo con le frange, tutto tono su tono: ecco uno spunto facile per uno stile neo-romantico. Le linee sono essenziali, senza troppi tagli o giochi di volume. Potete scegliere il corda o il bianco per il giorno, come ho fatto io, e riservarvi il nero per la sera, oppure osare un colore acceso come l'arancio e abbinarlo ad accessori a contrasto, come il viola brillante (accostamento proposto per l'estate anche da Frida Giannini per Gucci).

Abitini come il mio se ne trovano ormai in quantità, sia al mercato che nelle grandi catene low-cost, e se volete investire invece nella qualità, cercate nelle collezioni di grandi stilisti come Valentino e Blumarine, tra poche settimane in saldo.

La petite robe noire

You can't really understand how much is useful and important until you own that: the little black dress is an extremely versatile and confortable garment, perfect for any occasion and with any accessory. You can wear it from morning to evening without being neither too much nor inappropriate nor understated. Do you already own one?

So here it is, Sunday evening I matched it this way. Having been at sea, I needed something let my body free enough; unfortunately the weather turned bad: the wind started pulling and it was also cold... In short, a dip in the middle of the autumn, again! :(

Despite of this, I wasn't discouraged and... go ahead with bare legs! I'm lucky because I don't suffer cold at legs: I cover on the top... So, what to do, exhuming a coat???

For goodness sake, not at all. I solved this way: a long sleeve sweatshirt worn sideways, in my favourite pink, and a woolen vintage shawl in the same colour, with long fringes... To sofisticate that, I completed the look with a quilted purse and a jewelry set of pearls....

In short, Chanel was right a century ago: the little black dress is one of those timeless garments every woman must have in their own closet...

How do you match it?

Non si può capire quanto davvero è utile e fondamentale finchè non se ne si possiede uno: il tubino nero, o little black dress o petite robe noire che dir si voglia, è un capo estremamente versatile e comodo, adatto ad ogni occasione e con qualsiasi accessorio. Si porta tranquillamente dal giorno alla sera senza essere mai nè eccessive nè fuori luogo nè sottotono. Voi ne avete già uno?

How to wear a sequined miniskirt in a daywear outfit

Winter is still very close, here in Italy. So, let us forget t-shirts and sandals, resume sweaters, wool socks and boots and look for asuitable look at these days still cold and windy.

Here is a platinum sequined miniskirt which usually is a garment very difficult to wear, if you don't go at disco or glam parties very often. 

If you match the sequins with something of casual, matt, soft, resigned and practical, instead, you can wear your skirt also for a daywear outfit, as I show in this post.

I chose over knees flat black boots, to repair your legs by cold wind, combined with a pair of woolen tights of course. Then, you can wear a warm, soft, oversize sand-coloured sweater, which dampens the sparkle of sequins and a fringed bag (an advance on summer trend).

Complete the look with a fringed necklace and one or more old-golden rings.

L'inverno è ancora molto vicino qui in italia. Perciò, dimentichiamoci di magliette e sandali, riesumiamo maglioni, calze di lana e stivali e cerchiamo un look adatto a questi giorni freddi e ventosi.

Qui ho tirato fuori una minigonna paillettata color platino che solitamente è un capo molto poco sfruttabile se non vai in discoteca o alle feste glam molto spesso.

Se però invece combini le paillettes con qualcosa di casual, opaco, morbido, dimesso e pratico, puoi indossare la tua gonna anche di giorno, come mostro in questo post.

Ho scelto degli stivali neri oltre il ginocchio senza tacco, che riparano le gambe dal vento freddo, ovviamente abbinati a un paio di collant di lana. Poi, indossa un morbido e caldo maglione oversize color sabbia, che smorza il luccichio delle paillettes e una borsa con le frange (un anticipo del trend dell'estate).

Completa il look con una collana a frange e uno o più anelli oro vecchio.
