Personal stylist: how to match orange pants

During past days I received many SOS emails by you, who asked me tips to dress up for an occasion or suggestions about how to match certain garments. I'm so glad to see how much trust and esteem you place in my personal taste and I hope I've been useful and gave you right tips.    

A few days ago I received another request in which a follower asked me tips about how to match a simple pair of orange slim pants bought at Zara's. 

The girl who wrote me was a little afraid about the brightness of the color: she doesn't want to look excessive. Here are two proposal for day and night:

Nei giorni passati ho ricevuto diverse email con richieste di aiuto da parte vostra, nelle quali mi chiedevate consigli su come vestire per una certa occasione o su come abbinare determinati capi. 

Sono veramente felice di vedere quanta fiducia e stima riponete nei confronti del mio gusto personale e spero di esservi stata utile e di avervi dato i consigli giusti.

Qualche giorno fa, ad ogni modo, ho ricevuto un'altra richiesta con la quale una follower mi chiedeva come abbinare un paio di pantaloni arancioni a sigaretta comprati da Zara.

La ragazza che mi ha scritto era solo un po' timorosa riguardo alla grintosità del colore, ma con queste proposte dovrebbe stare abbastanza tranquilla :)

Here are two creations of mine: the first one is a denim bolero I created last Sunday, one of these days I can't keep my hands. It originally was a jacket but I turned it into a bolero and tomorrow a new post will show you how to do it yourself! 

Ecco qui altre due mie creazioni: la prima è un bolerino in jeans che ho creato domenica, uno di quei giorni in cui non riesco a starmene ferma con le mani in mano. L'ho ricavato da un giacchino che già avevo e domani vi mostrerò passo passo come fare per crearne uno anche da voi!

Talkin' about Beauty, how can't we mention them? 

Maybe they don't have the meaning I would like they had. 

However, red roses are always a pleasure.

Parlando di Bellezza, come non pensare a loro?

Forse queste rose non hanno il significato che io vorrei che avessero.

Comunque, riceverle fa sempre piacere.

Homage to the Beauty

This is a post not dedicated to me. It's dedicated to the Beauty. I'm always in search of Beauty: a sunset, a glance, a movement, a color match, a sound, a perfume... I live of Beauty and I search for it inside things I meet every day: it's the limph for our welfare. We live of Beauty.

This is an homage to the fascinating Indian Beauty. They are such amazing photos so they deserved a post just for them.

Questo non è un post su di me, ma è dedicato alla Bellezza. Sono sempre in cerca della Bellezza: in un tramonto, in uno sguardo, in un movimento, nell'accostamento di due colori, in un suono, in un profumo... Io vivo di Bellezza e la ricerco nelle cose che incontro ogni giorno: è la linfa del nostro benessere, noi viviamo di Bellezza.

Questo è un omaggio all'affascinante Bellezza Indiana. Erano foto così belle che meritavano un post solo per loro.

Indian party

Friday was the birthday of a sweet friend of mine with Indian origin, who wanted to celebrate with an aperitivo at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, a beautiful setting for a wonderful little woman wrapped up in his captivating bright orange sari. In honor of her, I chose from my wardrobe the closest to something Indian garment: this shiny embroidered kaftan with a deep V neckline, purchased on sale two years ago.

Venerdì era il compleanno di una mia dolcissima amica di origini indiane, che ha voluto festeggiare con un aperitivo alla Fortezza da Basso di Firenze, uno splendido scenario per una splendida donnina avvolta nel suo ammaliante sari arancio vivo.  Per farle omaggio, ho scelto dal mio guardaroba il capo che più si avvicinava a qualcosa di indiano: questo kaftano con un profondo scollo a V ricamato con paillettes e perline, comprato in saldo da Calzedonia un paio d'anni fa.
