Kill me softly

Christmas is knocking to door! It's time to pack.... (sigh). Every time I say I will arrange in advance, I will bring with me just a few things.... yeah... bla bla bla.... puntually all my intentions are revealed utopias. I hate packing. If I could travel bringing with me just what I'm wearing, I would be very happy instead of being distressed each departure because I'm not able to organize.
OK, let's talk about what I'm wearing today.
Many people ask me if I feel cold with skirt and tights and a trenchcoat instead of a warm downcoat that every people wears now. Don't know what to say but I feel good this way. Probably I have got a good resistance to low temperatures, but at least I can't stand with the heat.
However I keep myself warm and repaired layering dress, cardigan, another woolen cardigan and a trenchcoat... Isn't it the same thing?

Natale è davvero alle porte! E il momento di fare la valigia, anche. Ogni volta mi dico che mi organizzerò con anticipo, che porterò poca roba, bla bla bla.... tutte intenzioni che puntualmente si rivelano utopie. Io odio fare la valigia. Se potessi viaggiare solo con quello che indosso, sarei veramente  serena invece di angustiarmi a ogni partenza col pensiero di cosa indosserò per i prossimi giorni, perchè io non sono proprio capace di organizzare....

Ma veniamo a quello che indosso oggi.

Molti mi chiedono se non senta freddo ad andare in giro con la gonnellina e i collant, e con un trench al posto del piumino che tutti indossano. Boh, ragazze, che vi devo dire? Io sto bene così, non ho freddo. Probabilmente ho un'ottima resistenza alle basse temperature, ma in compenso ne ho pari a zero con quelle alte....

E poi stratifico. Abitino, cardigan leggero, cappottino di lana in maglia pesante, trench. Non è la stessa cosa che avere solo un piumino?

A voi l'ardua sentenza.

Bacioni bacioni, non vedo l'ora di mostrarvi che cosa sto combinando in questi giorni ;)

No, non vado in giro solo con la giacchetta con questo freddo. La foto è di mercoledì scorso, quando effettivamente c'era una temperatura molto mite.

Re-use in new ways what you already own

A few days ago a group of friends asked me how I can change my outfit so often and find every day something new to wear: they thought I had an unlimited wallet... Well, I haven't. Indeed, I assure you that by working like everyone else and paying a mortgage, several bills, and car payments it's not easy and I often give up the shopping!

Sometimes people stop me in the street and ask me where I did buy that or this, or congratulate with me for my way to dress up. My friends consult me before buying something...

These observations and people let the idea of starting a blog rise in me: if I have something catching people ( which every people can recreate by themselves because I haven't got  an unlimited bank account ), well why not to make it availaible to others?

This blog doesn't illustrate red-carpet outfits or fab expensive bags: I trust in style due to your style and personality, not to your bank account! I've seen bloggers wearing their Birkin Hermes in an horrible way... Oh my God!

I like to throw anything away, unless it's decomposing! :) I love recycling, renovating, reusing, rematching old garments with new ones... A huge wardrobe is build guessed-purchase by guessed-purchase.

In short: I give you ideas, suggestions, sometimes a few tips: and you... copy, let be inspired!!

About my outfit today, I was searching a new way to match this skirt I purchased 5 years ago and I've found that by matching this old top and completing the outfit with a few accessories that reflect the colours of the top: a flower among my curls, a coloured bracelet, shoes in tone...

Collar is due to the kind of top's neckline and to the richness of decorations: so it's linear and close to neck.

What do you think about? Do you like the result? My boyfriend (who has picky) liked it...

Qualche giorno fa un gruppo di amiche mi ha chiesto come faccio a cambiarmi così spesso di outfit e a trovare sempre qualcosa di nuovo da mettere: pensavano che avessi un portafogli infinito... Beh, purtroppo non ce l'ho! Anzi, vi assicuro che lavorando come fanno tutti e pagando un mutuo, delle bollette e le rate della macchina non è facile e le rinunce sono tante!

London shoes

Here it is the outfit of my Sunday evening spent at the theatre. Purse and jacket are the same of the morning outfit ( see here) : I changed all the rest.
These shoes are very special and very loved by the people: every time I wear them, there's always someone who stop me in the street and explains all his enthusiasm for them! ....And I really enjoy it!!
I bought them in London, in an amazing shop in Covent Garden which I never wanted to leave anymore...!!! There were a lot of amazing and extraordinary shoes that I never saw in Italy before and it was very difficult deciding which pair of them bringing home with me!

Ecco qui l'outfit che ho scelto domenica sera per andare a teatro. Rispetto all'outfit del giorno (vedi qui) ho lasciato la giacca e la pochette, cambiando tutto il resto.
