Bye, summer

The last outfit from my holidays, this one catched just a while before going to the beach. I adore kaftans and as seen on SS 2012 NY catwalks, we're going to use them again, next year.
Please, forgive my ugly flip flops :S I really didn't know what I was doing :)
I'm proud of this bikini, instead, because I embellished it with my own hands, what do you think about? Have you ever thought embellish basic cheap bikinis with your own DIY embroidery?

Ultimo look delle mie vacanze, stavolta "catturato" un attimo prima di andare in spiaggia. Adoro i caftani e, dalle sfilate viste finora, anche la prossima estate (con mia grande gioia) ne faremo grande uso! ^_^
Perdonatemi la pessima scelta delle flip flop sotto questa meraviglia di caftano :S ...non sapevo cosa stavo facendo :)
Il bikini invece, con mio grande orgoglio perchè l'ho ricamato io, trovo che sia davvero carino, voi che ne pensate? Avete mai pensato di decorare semplici bikini pagati pochissimo con interventi fai-da-te?

Croatia day 3: stripes in Rovigno

Third day: my holiday become really interesting and we discover this colored town which embraces the sea and its blue and reveals us so amazing corners. Many lanes descend directly into the sea and I've found it faboulous. We're in Rovigno - Rovinj as local language says - and this is the best place I visited in Croatia.

Terzo giorno: la vacanza si fa veramente interessante, e scopriamo questo paesino coloratissimo che abbraccia il blu del mare e ci rivela degli scorci incantevoli. Tutte le stradine strettissime laterali scendono direttamente sul mare e a me è sembrato favoloso che il mare e le abitazioni potessero convivere così meravigliosamente. Siamo a Rovigno - Rovinj per gli abitanti del luogo - e fra tutti i posti che ho visitato in Croazia questo è senza dubbio il mio preferito.

Flowers and the wind

I had last two days really challenging because I had to consign the collection, but now I am free & loose and I decided to have a long weekend, so it's going to begin today! The sun is shining and it will be perfect to get pictures... I want no longer to say anything: my day can't wait to start!!!

I don't know what I'm going to wear today, meanwhile I leave you with these pics which look like an old movie... and a fluttering fresh dress I love wearing during hottes days :)

Ho avuto due giorni veramente impegnativi per via della consegna della collezione, ma ora sono finalmente libera e ho deciso di anticipare l'inizio del mio weekend a oggi! Splende il sole e voglio proprio fare qualche fotografia... Non vi dico altro, la mia giornata non vede l'ora di incominciare!!!

Non so ancora cosa indosserò oggi, ma nel frattempo vi lascio con queste foto che fanno un po' vecchio film, uno di quelli con le dive in carne... e questo abitino svolazzante freschissimo che amo sempre indossare nelle giornate più calde :)

The freshness

Saturday, back from the coast, not tanned, but glad of my pleasant weekend by myself, I needed to wear a skirt. Can you imagine you're relaxed and in peace and you need to show your own freshness?

This is how I felt, and my skirt was perfect for this.

Green and pink matched together, and blended with white are shades very used in advertising to carry the idea of freshness and youth: think of all perfumes and creams which use this colour mix in their packaging...

I treasured and chose a simply tank top in white cotton. For accessories, I preferred to focus on natural shades and woven materials, which remind me the countryside and leisure: a pair of confortable clogs and a huge straw bag bought in Puglia.

Textile flowers are my "trademark" and add a touch of frou frou: they make me feel feminine and graceful even if I'm awkward and clumsy :)

Even the nailpolish I was already wearing was perfect! Do you like this hue?

Domenica, di ritorno dalla costa, per niente abbronzata, ma felice del mio weekend in piacevole compagnia di me stessa, sentivo proprio l'esigenza di indossare una gonna. Avete presente quando vi sentite rilassate e in pace col mondo e avete voglia di vestire la vostra freschezza? Ecco, io mi sentivo così, e ho trovato nella mia nuova gonnellina fiori proprio quello di cui avevo bisogno.

Il verde e il rosa abbinati insieme, soprattutto se amalgamati col bianco, sono delle tonalità usate spesso in pubblicità per trasmettere l'idea di freschezza e giovinezza: pensate a tutti i profumi e le creme che utilizzano nel packaging proprio questo accostamento cromatico...

Yellow on the beach

Oh, yes, it's still cold to go to sea... but saturday it was sunny and I felt good on the beach, enjoying the silence and my friends, relaxing in the breeze...
So I wore my new H&M bikini (composed by myself- I'm a fan of rematching bikinis) and I didin't forget to bring with me some piece to cover in case of wind.
Here it is! This was my freak outfit! Yellow is the colour this season that influences me the most, together with orange... And I find it perfect with denim and b&w stripes!
Don't you think?
I would like developing better the re-assembling bikinis topic, because I think it's a good way to change often the look on the beach too, without spending too much and purchasing new swimsuits...
Now I'm very busy and tomorrow I will be in Rome as well... So, will you have the patience waiting for a new post about that? :)

Sì lo so, è ancora freddo per andare al mare... ma sabato c'era un sole stupendo e io sono stata proprio bene in spiaggia, a godermi il silenzio e le mie amiche, a rilassarmi nella brezzolina...
