Segovia

Last day in Spain before get back home. In Segovia I discovered beautiful buildings, unique facades, a charming tale's castle and an incredibly yummy pork, which seems to be the reasons of the Sunday visits to the city by people from Madrid.
But first we got a stop in El Escorial, where is a huge palace, now a monastery (once was the head quarters of the vast Empire of Spain), second in size only to the Reggia di Caserta.

The antique roman aqueduct of Segovia.
Think that it has been here for over two thousands years, built without cement, just overlapping stone on stone, and it survived to devastating earthquakes which destroyed towns nearby...

Last stop: LaGranja, a huge royal park where gardens blend with wood...
